Collisions that occur during sporting events, falls or automobile crashes can all have a damaging effect on your body. These injuries are often referred to as “whiplash” injuries. The result of such injuries can be instability of the spine and soft tissues. This can then contribute to other associated symptoms such as, headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, pain in the shoulders, arms and hands, reduced range of motion and back/neck problems. It is important to note that as your body tries to adapt,  some of these symptoms may not appear until weeks to months later.  Our approach as chiropractors is to help normalize spinal function.  We accomplish this through doing a thorough case history and examination so that we can provide a series of visits that will be tailored to your needs and include chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy and rehabilitation. It has been scientifically proven that if these injuries are caught early enough, scar tissue and inflammation can be minimized.
